About this video

Following a Sacrificial Front Trip, secure a deep grip behind the opponent's neck, which is essential for the Forearm Choke. Transition into a Knee on Diaphragm position to gain more control over the opponent.

  1. With the opponent's arm tightly controlled, use your leg to drive your body closer to them.
  2. Slide into position, placing your knee on their diaphragm to apply pressure.
  3. Simultaneously, drive your elbow down towards the opponent to initiate the choke.
  4. Ensure your grip on the lapel is deep; a loose grip will render the choke ineffective.
  5. As you apply the choke, lift your head up to ensure the grip remains tight and deep.
  6. Drive your weight down through your knee and elbow to complete the Forearm Choke.

This position also allows for transitions to other chokes, such as the Ezekiel, but the focus here is on securing and executing the Forearm Choke effectively.
