About this video

Warm-up drill to prevent stack passes:

  1. Begin with your partner on their knees, one hand gripping over your knee.
  2. As your partner starts to stack, frame against their shoulder to maintain distance and control.
  3. Move your hips away while making your legs heavy to prevent your partner from placing their leg over your shoulder.
  4. Keep your hips out and pummel your leg inside to regain position.
  5. Alternatively, after pummeling your leg, you can place your foot on the biceps before replacing your guard.
