Executing the shotgun armbar from the collar and sleeve guard:

  1. Begin in the collar and sleeve position, with your opponent grabbing your pants.
  2. Release the sleeve grip and establish a scoop grip (underhook) on your opponent's hamstring.
  3. Use the scoop grip to pull yourself to an angle, maintaining control of the guard.
  4. Pummel your foot off your opponent's bicep and move it outside their arm.
  5. Widen your right leg and start inverting to create the necessary angle for the armbar.
  6. Grip around your opponent's elbow with a shotgun grip, ensuring your elbow is inside their wrist.
  7. Break their grip by kicking and pulling, then position your knee over their ear.
  8. Lift your hips and bridge into their elbow to secure the armbar finish.
