About this video
Transitioning from a leg bundle to an arm-controlled bundle:
- Start by attempting to bundle your opponent's legs together. If you're unable to secure the legs or if the opponent begins to pull out, prepare to switch your strategy.
- Replace the leg bundle with an arm clench just above your opponent's knee line. Use a grip that you're comfortable with, such as a gable grip.
- Release your legs and place your feet on the floor. The goal is to turn yourself over while maintaining the arm clench on your opponent's legs.
- Once the legs are bundled with your arms, it becomes difficult for the opponent to defend. Transition to an underhook position if possible.
- If you sense the control is slipping, immediately switch to clenching with your arms instead of your legs.
- With your toes on the floor, release your feet from the bundle and start to drag yourself, moving your opponent's legs and driving over them.
- Even if the opponent tries to defend or post with their arms, continue to drive over and drag their legs out from underneath them to complete the reversal.
