Initiate the technique from the lasso guard when the opponent stands up with one leg. Hook their raised leg and bring your own leg inside to prepare for the sweep.

  1. Get underneath the opponent by pulling on the collar and the hook, aiming to move their leg across to the other side.
  2. As you pull them forward, push to off-balance them and transition to controlling their butt, keeping it above your belly.
  3. Release the hand that was on the collar and take control of the leg that is under your head, extending it forward.
  4. Bring the opponent down by lifting their leg and hooking behind their knee, while stepping your foot on their leg to trap them.
  5. Maintain control of their butt with your right arm and use your leg as a hook or a post to manage their movement.
  6. Bring your leg towards you and stretch it out to drive their hips in front of yours, allowing you to insert your hook and control the collar.
  7. For an alternative finish, grab the knee that is close to you, switch your legs, and set up for a bow and arrow choke.
  8. Secure the choke by placing one leg over their back, closing your elbow, and the other leg across their belly.
  9. Lay down, pull their knee towards you, and extend to finish the submission.

This sequence allows you to sweep the opponent, control their movement, and transition to a dominant back position with the option to finish with a bow and arrow choke.
