About this video
Sprawl shot drill variation:
- Begin by clapping to signal the start of the drill. The partner sprawls in response.
- Introduce movement and light touches to make the drill more dynamic and realistic. This requires the partner to react to both the movement and the touches.
- Incorporate fast footwork. After the clap and sprawl, move around and touch the partner, possibly even clubbing them as they come up. This forces them to react to your hands and movement before executing a shot.
- Ensure the partner gives a good, explosive shot and reaction. They should be ready to pop up posts or snap hands down before shooting.
- Maintain realism by moving around and touching the partner's head or shoulders, making the drill more challenging and lifelike.
