Single Leg Dump Technique:
- When securing the single leg, ensure the back hand is on top to prevent the opponent from easily pulling it off.
- Maintain proper body positioning by facing more in front of the opponent, not directly towards them. Keep the head high to avoid the opponent pushing it down.
- Apply pressure with the shoulder on the opponent's hip, not the head. This increases the effectiveness of the dump.
- To execute the dump, make the opponent hop by stepping forward with the outside foot and stepping back with the inside foot while pushing with the head.
- Combine the shoulder pressure with the hopping motion to make the opponent fall. Ensure the shoulder is pressing down as the opponent hops.
- After the opponent falls, land with a stable base ready to control them. Avoid falling with the opponent to prevent them from using momentum against you.
- Be prepared to control the opponent if they attempt to stand up immediately after the dump.
