Executing a roll through twister hook from a double guard pull situation:

  1. Begin with a grip on the opponent's pants and an inconspicuous grip towards the front of their belt, which may not seem as threatening.
  2. Roll onto your left shoulder, closing the space quickly, and come up to your knee while picking up the opponent's leg.
  3. As your legs dangle momentarily, swiftly bring your feet back and transition into the twister hook, locking it in place.
  4. Ensure your left foot curls the opponent's leg inward to maintain a tight twister hook, preventing them from breaking free by extending their leg.
  5. With the twister hook secured, you can either hold onto it for control, finish with a calf slicer, or use your left leg as a pendulum to take the back.
  6. If the opponent is actively preventing you from establishing a De La Riva hook by controlling the inside of your leg, focus on securing your grips first.
  7. After obtaining the grips on the pants and the front of the belt, roll over your left shoulder and transition into the twister hook to expose the back and initiate attacks.
