About this video

Counter a failed arm drag with a Darce choke:

  1. When the arm drag attempt fails because the opponent's head comes down or they crowd you, preventing you from getting out and around the corner, ensure you have successfully brought their arm across your body.
  2. Move out of the way and reach across with your second arm to initiate the Darce choke.
  3. Place yourself on your shoulder and proceed to run towards your opponent.
  4. Hook one of your opponent's legs with your arm to prevent them from escaping.
  5. As you secure the leg, fold your opponent's body in half and apply the Darce choke by squeezing tightly.

Remember to catch something of your opponent's, such as a leg, to prevent them from running away and to ensure the choke is secured.
