About this video
Here's a detailed attack from the side control:
- Start from the side mount, faking a knee-on-belly position. There's no need to put your other knee under the opponent's arm, it can stay on the outside.
- As the opponent tries to block, lift their head slightly and pass your left leg under their head.
- Simultaneously, fall to the same side and lock the triangle.
- After locking the triangle, release your grips, pass your hand under the opponent's arm and control your shin.
- Before controlling your shin, come on top, place your elbow on the mat to get a better angle.
- Once you have control of your shin, adjust your body. Unlock the triangle, come on top and turn your body slightly.
- Lock the triangle again. This position allows for a choke and a reverse Sambor, offering double attacks.
Remember, there's no need to put your other knee under the opponent's arm. Keep your knee outside to be able to lock the triangle. Also, don't unlock the triangle before controlling your shin. After controlling your shin, you can unlock the triangle, adjust your body, and lock the triangle again. This position allows for a choke and a reverse Sambor, offering double attacks.
