About this video
Transitioning from seatbelt control to an arm triangle:
- Maintain your arm close to the opponent's arm when they try to block and bridge.
- Place your arm over their shoulder and punch over their foot, keeping your foot flexible.
- As you point your foot forward, come on top, aiming for a one-punch motion, then transition to the arm triangle.
- Ensure your arm is under their arm triangle and transition your grip with one palm up and one palm down, connecting your hands.
- Keep your head close to theirs and try to finish from there by keeping your feet on the ground and pulling forward.
- If the opponent doesn't tap, lift your feet, cut your hip, hop, and come back with your foot over theirs.
- Drop your feet down to finish in the arm triangle.
- Remember to keep your shoulder over theirs during the transition and to cover your shoulder with your hand when finishing the submission.
