Executing the Smash Pass into a Twister Hook Back Take:

  1. Start by hitting the smash, sliding down your partner's body to control their knees with a tight waist.
  2. If their hooks are too sticky to pass, bring one hand over their head and weave the other inside their legs, placing a fist on the mat.
  3. Switch and drive your leg through, then bring your other knee inside to their hip. Simultaneously, remove the hand from their head and swim it inside, switching your hips in the process.
  4. Ensure the lower part of your calf is in the crook of their knee and your knee is wedged into their hip. Your foot and knee should pinch to control their top leg.
  5. Roll over your shoulder, reaching for their far leg. Your foot should press on the mat and your other leg should push and lift between their hips, getting their hips off the mat.
  6. Grab their top hip, then switch your legs so your heel goes in the crook of their knee. Circle out the other leg and feed into your twister hook.
  7. Bring them on top of you, grab their shoulder, secure your underhook, and bring your knee over their hip to prevent them from going in on your legs. You are now in a position to launch your back attacks.
