About this video
From a high position, if your partner grabs your leg, you can use this to your advantage:
- Grab the meat of your partner's pinky and peel it up.
- Place your hand in your partner's armpit and roll over your right shoulder.
- Connect a Kimura grip, ensuring your elbow stays close to your partner's armpit. This prevents your partner from getting their elbow inside.
- When your partner tries to turn into you, slide your knee underneath them.
- Bring your other leg all the way around and back heel into your partner's hip, forming a connection between your heel and knee. This makes it difficult for your partner to escape.
- Free your right leg and lock your legs on the high side.
- Secure a seatbelt grip and you're now on your partner's back.
This technique can be used when your partner grabs your knee, perhaps to try and gain control or enter on your legs. The key is to maintain a tight elbow position and form a strong connection around your partner's body, making it difficult for them to escape.
