About this video

From a pummel position, the technique begins with a hand on the mat and the other on the opponent's armpit. The top leg is pummeled over the opponent's hook to initiate offense. Even if the opponent tries to off balance by pushing, maintaining head over head position provides stability.

  1. Turn the knee inside and circle the leg over the opponent's hook.
  2. Ensure not to lose tension on the hook while extending away. This is achieved by turning the knee inside and peeling the foot outside simultaneously.
  3. Extend the hips forward and bring the opponent's leg in the same direction. Feed the right leg inside to lock a full figure four around the top leg.
  4. Walk the hands in the direction of the opponent's ankle, grab it with both hands and roll over the right shoulder.
  5. From this position, start attacking the opponent's back. Lift the opponent's hips over and grab their shoulder. The other hand grabs an underhook.
  6. Bring the left knee around to check the opponent's hip to prevent them from backstepping and threatening with leg locks.
  7. Pull the opponent in and secure the back position.

The technique is repeated with emphasis on turning the knee in and circling the foot over the opponent's hook while extending the leg. The knee and toes are turned in and out respectively to maintain the hook while extending. The hips are extended forward and the leg is pulled back using the tension created from the knee and hook. The legs are fed inside to lock a full triangle. The body is aligned to reach for the opponent's free leg and roll through into a twister leg truck position. The opponent is extended away and their hips are rotated on top. The hands are placed on the opponent's bottom and top shoulders. The knee is brought up to check over the opponent's hip to prevent leg entanglements. The technique concludes with securing a seat belt and hook.
