About this video

Escape from a fully locked triangle choke:
  1. Position the inside arm low and walk the hand up on top of the opponent's knee until you can feel their kneecap.
  2. Place the outside hand on top of the inside hand to secure it and prevent the opponent from transitioning to an armbar.
  3. Drive the elbow of the inside arm towards the ground, pulling the opponent's knee down with it.
  4. Simultaneously shove your body in forcefully, keeping your knees and stomach off the mat.
  5. Ensure your left knee is in front of the opponent's buttocks as you drive forward at an angle.
  6. Keep your knees off the ground, place one knee down, and pop your head up.
  7. Expand your chest and apply pressure, driving in and pulling the opponent's legs down to force the triangle to open.
