About this video

Techniques should be interconnected like Lego blocks, allowing for fluid transitions and adaptability during a match. The goal is to seamlessly move from one technique to another in response to an opponent's defense.

  1. Initiate a Knee on Belly position, but be prepared for the opponent to roll to avoid having their back taken.
  2. If the opponent rolls, maintain the position of your knee to quickly transition into a cradle as they roll back.
  3. Secure the cradle by grabbing the belt and using your grips to control the opponent's hip and shoulder.
  4. As you aim to climb to the opponent's back, adjust your grips from the belt to the shoulder to assist in lifting them.
  5. Simultaneously pull the opponent towards you, extend your leg, and lift them slightly to create space for back control.
  6. By lifting the opponent, it becomes more challenging for them to tuck their chin, allowing easier access for a choke.
  7. Finalize the transition by securing your grip on the neck, setting your hooks, and establishing perfect back control, ready for submission attacks.

This approach emphasizes the importance of fluidity and the ability to adapt techniques on the fly, rather than relying on isolated moves.
