About this video
Executing the Rear Naked Choke (RNC) when the opponent's chin is tucked:
- Begin with the standard hand fighting sequence and pin the opponent's arm.
- Grab the opponent's shoulder, but if their chin is tucked, your grip will be over their face.
- If the initial choke attempt over the face fails, lift the opponent's head with your original hand.
- Slide your secondary hand under the opponent's neck.
- Move your head to the opposite side and bring your elbow back to connect palm to palm.
- Turn your wrist so that your knuckles face upwards and push your head into the back of the opponent's head to enhance the choke.
- Ensure your elbow is tucked behind the opponent's back for a tighter grip.
- Squeeze and push in with your head to finish the choke.
