About this video
Executing a foot lock from a single leg position involves the following steps:
- Start in a single leg position and place your other foot between your opponent's feet to have both of your feet inside their stance.
- Jump towards the leg you intend to attack, positioning yourself so that your hips are above their knee.
- Begin pushing your opponent in the direction of the leg you're attacking to off-balance them.
- Once in position, lift your hips and move your foot to the side to secure the foot lock.
- Apply the finishing pressure to complete the submission.
