About this video
Triple Attack Triangle from the Arm Sling position:
- Start in the arm sling position. Pop up and put your opponent down so that you can get your leg over their arm.
- Let go, grab your shin, and scoot out, causing your opponent to fall into the hole you've created.
- Now you have a reverse triangle. To finish the reverse triangle, pop up, sit up, grab your opponent's pants, and lift your hips off the ground while moving towards the knee.
- If you can't reach the knees, fall back, place one hand on the elbow and the other on the wrist, and pull against the shoulder. Turn to secure the arm lock.
- Return to the arm sling position, pop up, put your opponent down, and trap their arm to go in for the triangle.
- If you have difficulty grabbing the leg and sitting up for the traditional reverse triangle, bring your knee to the ground while holding onto your opponent to prevent them from escaping.
- Shift so that your calf is against your opponent's neck and relock the triangle. Squeeze for the choke.
- The shoulder is going into the throat, and your calf muscle is going to the throat as you pull and squeeze at the same time. This results in a very tight choke.
- Finally, you can transition into a shoulder lock or arm bar.
