Did you know?

• ▸ Of Orchard's 16 recorded wins, 13 came by submission, a submission win rate of 81 percent against a site average of 40 percent. That is a finisher's game, not a points game.
• ▸ Orchard is almost entirely a no-gi competitor on record, with 25 of his 30 matches contested without the gi. That fits the EBI and Submission Underground overtime era he came up in.
• ▸ The rear naked choke is Orchard's signature finish, accounting for 5 of his submission wins. The rest of his finishing arsenal is varied, with 2 each by kneebar and armbar.
• ▸ Orchard beat some recognizable names by submission, including Baret Yoshida by armbar at EBI 2 in 2014 and Masakazu Imanari by rear naked choke at Polaris 4 in 2016. Catching Imanari, a leglock specialist, with a choke is worth noting.
• ▸ One of Orchard's more unusual finishes was a twister spine crank over Kieran Davern at Polaris 3 Squads in 2021. It is the only recorded win of that type for him.
