About this video
Transitioning to a triangle choke when the opponent defends against the X-Guard:
- Start in the same position as the previous technique.
- When the opponent puts their knee up and shoots their leg back to defend, immediately pull them into a triangle choke.
- To secure the triangle, place one foot on the opponent's hip.
- Twist your hips to eliminate any space between your leg and the opponent's neck, ensuring a tight fit.
- Lock up the triangle by crossing your ankles.
- Lift your hips off the ground and bring the opponent's arm across their body.
- Squeeze your legs together to apply pressure and finish the choke, forcing the tap.
