About this video
When attacking with a baseball grip on the lapel from a two-on-one position, you can either elevate yourself or break down your opponent to bring them closer to you. Be aware that your opponent might try to create space by blocking your bicep or pushing on your hand, as they will feel the choke threat on their neck.
- As soon as your opponent tries to grab your arm, go across and grab their tricep, bring it over, and slip a little bit. Your chest should be on their tricep.
- Get the two-on-one grip again and pull with both hands. Your opponent might try to create space by posting their hands on the floor. If they do this, you can immediately transition into other attacks.
- Keep grinding into your opponent's neck. Pull down and tuck your elbow into your hip, close to their chest.
- When your opponent tries to create space, go over to their tricep, bring it over, slip out, and bring your hand back to the choke. Pull to secure the choke.
This technique opens up many situations for further attacks and control.
