Ruleset
AJP
The Abu Dhabi Jiu-Jitsu Pro points ruleset: IBJJF-like scoring with its own penalty emphasis and event structure.
How the ruleset works
The Abu Dhabi Jiu-Jitsu Pro (formerly UAEJJF) runs a points ruleset closely related to the IBJJF's: the familiar 2-3-4 scoring ladder with fixed time limits and submissions ending the match. Its distinguishing flavor is a heavier penalty system (passivity is scored against quickly) and a Grand Slam / World Pro event circuit with cash prizes that made it a fixture on the professional calendar.
