Bianca Basílio was born on February 2, 1996, in Franca, São Paulo, Brazil, later relocating to Itaquera. Initially, Bianca dedicated herself to gymnastics, training rigorously for over three years at the Dom Bosco center. Her athletic trajectory shifted significantly in 2008 when, at age 12, she joined a children's Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu class led by Diogo Almeida alongside her brother Raul. This marked the beginning of her grappling journey and laid the foundation for her future success.

Early Training and Mentorship

Bianca's initial jiu-jitsu training was guided by Diogo Almeida, who oversaw her progression up to the orange belt. Subsequently, Diogo's brother, Caio Almeida, took over as her primary instructor and mentor, refining her technique and competitive mindset.

Early Competitive Success

Demonstrating exceptional talent early on, Bianca captured her first world title at age 15, winning gold in the juvenile blue belt division at the 2012 IBJJF Juvenile World Championship. This pivotal victory solidified her determination to pursue a professional grappling career. Her consistent dominance across colored belt divisions culminated in her promotion to black belt by Caio Almeida in December 2016.

Transition to Mixed Martial Arts

In 2022, Bianca expanded her competitive horizons by venturing into mixed martial arts. Representing Team Bahrain at the IMMAF Super Cup, she won her amateur MMA debut impressively via first-round armbar submission.

Success in ONE Championship

In November 2022, Bianca made her ONE Championship debut, showcasing elite grappling skills with a swift 42-second submission victory in a strawweight bout. Her dominant performance earned her a performance bonus and highlighted her seamless transition from grappling to MMA competition. She continued her momentum at ONE Fight Night 22 on May 3rd, 2024, securing another notable submission victory by putting her opponent to sleep in just 25 seconds.
