Vinicius Inacio was born in October 2004 in São Sebastião, São Paulo, Brazil, and moved with his family to Caraguatatuba at age nine. His introduction to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu came at age ten through a city hall social project — a grassroots community initiative that would prove to be the foundation of an elite competitive career. His first instructors, André Medeiros and Anderson França, oversaw his early development and awarded his kids belts, giving Inacio his first formal grounding in the sport.

Even as a young practitioner in Caraguatatuba, Inacio demonstrated an uncommon level of ambition. He regularly made the journey to São José dos Campos to train under Claudio Calasans — a commitment that required significant sacrifice from both the athlete and his family at an age when most peers were still exploring the sport casually. That early drive translated directly into results: Inacio claimed the CBJJ Brazilian Nationals title in both 2021 and 2022 in the juvenile division, and added CBJJ South American Championship gold and CBJJ South American No-Gi Championship gold in 2021.
