Sarah Galvao is the daughter of esteemed Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competitors Andre Galvao and Angelica Galvao. Raised in a household deeply immersed in BJJ culture, Sarah began training at an early age under the direct mentorship of her parents. Her foundational skills developed at the renowned Atos Jiu-Jitsu headquarters, where she benefited from elite-level instruction and consistent exposure to high-caliber training partners.

Sarah Galvao swiftly distinguished herself through the colored belt ranks, demonstrating rapid technical growth and strategic maturity. There, she secured double gold medals in the purple belt division, showcasing her versatile skill set and dominant positional control.
