Lucas Rocha began his martial arts journey early, initially training in judo and karate. His passion for grappling naturally guided him toward Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, where he refined his skills under the mentorship of his uncle, renowned instructor Zé Radiola. Demonstrating exceptional dedication and talent, Rocha earned his black belt from Radiola in 2012, marking the beginning of an accomplished career in the sport.

In 2021, Lucas Rocha departed from ZR Team to establish Logic Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Arcadia, California. Transforming the former Gracie Barra/ZR Team Arcadia facility into Logic BJJ Headquarters, Rocha quickly attracted many of his previous students and affiliated academies to the new organization. Under his strategic leadership, Logic BJJ expanded rapidly, opening multiple locations, including a prominent branch in Jacksonville, Florida, and solidifying its presence within the broader BJJ community.

Rocha has distinguished himself as an influential coach, guiding numerous athletes toward competitive success. Among his standout students is Estevan "Giant Slayer" Martinez, who received his black belt from Rocha in 2019 after achieving podium success at the IBJJF World Championship as a brown belt. Rocha's coaching emphasizes dynamic, technical grappling and strategic execution, consistently preparing his students to excel at major tournaments.

After years competing at the elite adult level, Lucas Rocha continues to actively compete in the IBJJF Masters divisions. His ongoing dedication has resulted in notable podium finishes, including a bronze medal at the 2022 IBJJF World Master No-Gi Championship in the Master 1 heavyweight division. Rocha also competes internationally, representing Logic Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at prestigious events such as the 2023 Pan Jiu-Jitsu IBJJF Championship and the 2024 and 2025 IBJJF European Championships.

Lucas Rocha is widely respected for his precise technique and strategic mindset in competition. Balancing his responsibilities as head coach with maintaining elite-level skills, Rocha emphasizes technical accuracy, tactical awareness, and efficient execution in his matches. His methodical approach allows him to remain highly competitive, particularly within the Masters divisions, where his seasoned experience and refined technique consistently set him apart from his peers.
