Keven Carrasco competes as a representative of Ares BJJ, where his identity as a gi-focused athlete forms the cornerstone of his competitive career. At the 2024 IBJJF World Championships, Carrasco earned a bronze medal in the gi division — the most prominent achievement of his competitive record to date. The performance at Worlds affirmed his standing among the upper tier of gi competitors and reinforced his profile as a technically grounded athlete within the Ares BJJ system.

Relative to his gi competition volume, Carrasco's no-gi activity has been selective, with his appearances in the format concentrated within UFC-branded grappling platforms. Across those events, he has demonstrated a clear ability to translate his submission game into the no-gi ruleset. At UFC FP 11, he defeated Sebastian Oyervidez via teepee choke, and in a separate UFC BJJ event, he submitted Ty Costlow with a Triangle Choke — a finish that highlighted the adaptability of his guard-based attack system.

In August 2025, UFC BJJ announced that Carrasco was booked to face Mikey Musumeci at UFC BJJ 3 in Las Vegas on October 2, 2025.
