Aaron Wilson

Did you know?

• ▸ When Wilson finishes a match, he tends to finish it clean. Of his 7 recorded wins, 4 came by submission, a 57 percent submission win rate that sits above the site average of 40 percent.
• ▸ His finishing is genuinely diverse. Across 4 submission wins he has 1 each by rear naked choke, heel hook, kneebar, and triangle armbar, so he threatens from the back, the legs, and the guard.
• ▸ Renato Canuto has been a wall for him. They have met 3 times on record and Wilson has lost all 3.
• ▸ The losses tell you who he tends to face. Of his 8 recorded defeats, 5 came by submission, so he is competing in matches where both people are hunting the finish.
• ▸ He is a no-gi competitor almost exclusively, with 13 of his recorded matches in no-gi and only 1 in the gi.
