Juvenile and Purple Belt Dominance
Once committed to competition, Rayron established himself as one of the most decorated young athletes on the IBJJF circuit with remarkable speed. As a juvenile blue belt in 2017, he claimed gold at the IBJJF World Championship and silver at both the Pan Championship and the Worlds No-Gi — an immediate statement of elite potential. He carried that momentum into 2018, adding a European Championship title at the juvenile level and accumulating further podium finishes across multiple divisions and formats.
The transition into adult colored belt competition sustained his upward trajectory. At purple belt, Rayron captured gold at both the 2021 IBJJF World Championship and the 2021 IBJJF Pan Jiu-Jitsu Championship, cementing his standing among the elite competitors of his generation.
Brown Belt Success and Training with Roger Gracie
The brown belt years proved equally prolific. Rayron claimed gold at the 2023 IBJJF World Championship in his final year at that rank, while also earning silver at the 2023 IBJJF Pan Jiu-Jitsu Championship and multiple podium finishes at the IBJJF European Championship across 2022 and 2023.
Central to his continued development during this period were extended training stays with Roger Gracie, widely regarded as one of the greatest competitors in the sport's history. These sessions within the broader Gracie association gave Rayron access to a technically elite environment and reinforced the family's tradition of seeking out the highest level of instruction available. By the close of his colored belt career, Rayron had compiled one of the most decorated résumés of his generation across all major IBJJF events.
