Born in 1980 into Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu royalty, Igor Gracie is the son of the legendary Rolls Gracie, widely regarded as one of Helio Gracie's most talented sons. After the passing of his father, Igor continued his training under the mentorship of his cousin, Renzo Gracie, ultimately earning his black belt and carrying forward the family's prestigious legacy.
