Julia Boscher defended well throughout, using back-steps, hand-fighting, and keeping her bottom leg clear to survive several heel hook and straight ankle lock attempts.

The two competitors stayed in a technical leg entanglement exchange for several minutes. Crevar eventually transitioned to an Aoki lock after the heel slipped from a straight footlock position, and Boscher tapped at the 5:08 mark.
