Fight to Win 247
Did you know?
- Fight to Win 247 ran 50 recorded matchups across March 1 and 2, 2024, and 28 of them ended by submission against 22 by decision. That is a good sign that this card leaned toward finishers rather than points.
- The submission rate at this event was 56 percent, so you were slightly more likely to see a finish than a decision when you sat down to watch a match.
- Leg attacks led the finishing map, with the Heel Hook coming up 4 times, the most of any single submission on the card. Add in 2 Straight Ankle Locks and the lower body was clearly a live target here.
- Not every submission was standard fare. James Blaul closed out Cabell Tice with a Cutter Choke and Omarre Griffith finished Brandon Walker with an Ezekiel Choke, both on record at this event.
- The Rear Naked Choke showed up 3 times and the Triangle Choke twice, so even with all the leg work the classic strangles still did their share of the finishing.
