Micael Galvão defeated BJJ Stars 15 competitor Elijah Dorsey by decision in the No-Gi GP Semifinal. The match stayed on the feet for nearly three minutes before Galvão jumped to closed guard and began working toward a triangle. Dorsey created enough distance to escape the attack and briefly took top position, but Galvão returned to his feet just before points went into effect.

With less than three minutes left, Galvão sat to guard and attempted an omoplata. As Dorsey worked free of the attack, he picked up the pace and came very close to completing a pass before Galvão recovered. The two competitors returned to their feet to close out the match, and Galvão took the decision.
