Kennedy Maciel vs Ademir Barreto Araujo

In the opening round of UFC BJJ 2, Ademir Barreto Araujo had a strong heel hook attempt that Kennedy Maciel managed to defend. The fast pace of the first round gave way to a slower, more controlled second round, with Maciel spending most of his time in top control.

Midway through the final round, Maciel went for a kneebar, then looked for a rear-naked choke late in the round. Barreto successfully defended both submissions, but the sustained pressure and top control was enough for Maciel to earn the decision victory when time expired.
