Fabricio Andrey and Ruan Alvarenga met at 2024 ADXC 3 in a fast and entertaining match. The first round played out largely as a wrestling exchange, with Alvarenga winning the initial standing engagement via a quick double leg takedown. Andrey answered near the end of the round with a well-timed wrist snap to even things out.
The second round shifted in character. Andrey chose to pull guard early but, unable to establish meaningful connections from the bottom, returned to his feet. Alvarenga scored two more takedowns with the double leg, but on his second attempt he was caught in a tight guillotine choke and was forced to submit.
