Cassia Moura vs Sarah Galvao

Cassia Moura, the FPI 8 victor, faced Sarah Galvao, the 2024 IBJJF No-Gi World Champion, at UFC Fight Pass Invitational 10. Both competitors are teenagers, with Galvao at 18 and Moura at 19 years old. They came out aggressively, mixing wrestling with submission grappling, and neither gave up on submission attempts throughout regulation, which sent the match into overtime.

In overtime, Galvao pulled Moura into her guard, and the match stayed there for roughly a minute before the referee stood both athletes back up. Moura then leaped onto Galvao's back, securing the position and scoring four points. She worked for a choke from back control but was unable to finish it. The four points from the back take were enough to give Moura the victory.
