Fight to Win 151
Did you know?
- Fight to Win 151 ran across two days in Dallas, TX with 41 recorded matchups on the card. That is a deep lineup to work through in one weekend.
- Only 32 percent of the recorded finishes came by submission at this event, with 23 wins by decision and 5 by split decision. If you trained under F2W rules here, you needed to be ready to win on the judges' cards.
- When submissions did land, the armbar led the way with 4, followed by the heel hook at 3. That split tells you both the gi guard players and the leg lockers found their spots.
- Kennedy Maciel took the main event over Osvaldo Moizinho by decision at lightweight, one of his 2 wins on record here. Both of those wins came by decision rather than submission, which fits the technical, detail-driven battle the main event turned into.
- The co-main saw Aaron Johnson beat Rafael Lovato Jr by decision at light heavyweight, an upset over one of the most decorated grapplers in the sport. It was a decision, so no finish, just Johnson controlling the little details.
