Renato Canuto vs Oliver Taza

The co-main event at UFC Fight Pass Invitational 10 opened with Renato Canuto shooting for a takedown, and Oliver Taza responded with offense from his back. Canuto worked into half-guard but did not capitalize much on the position. After a restart, he passed to side control and established knee on belly, though the 31-year-old Taza recognized it and returned to his feet.

The recovery was short-lived. Canuto brought Taza back to the mat with a judo throw and nearly secured mount before the regulation period ended. In overtime, both competitors attempted various takedowns without either scoring for the first few minutes of the extra period.

Canuto appeared to be the fresher of the two as the match continued, and he trapped Taza in a reverse crucifix position. In the closing moments, Canuto managed to score points by passing Taza's guard.
