Luiz Henrique Betta da Silva was born on November 13, 1998, in Porciúncula, a small municipality straddling the border of Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais in Brazil. An energetic child by nature, his parents channeled that restlessness into sport from an early age, enrolling him across multiple disciplines simultaneously. Jiu-jitsu entered his life at age six, running parallel to karate and football as the three pillars of his athletic development.
His first instructor, Rafael Gonçalves, guided Henrique through every stage of the children's belt curriculum, building the technical foundation and competitive mentality that would later define his career. For a decade, he balanced all three sports with genuine commitment — until, at age 16, he made a deliberate and defining choice: to set aside karate and football and invest himself fully in BJJ.
