Flavio Aleluia

Born on November 26, 1975, in Brazil, Flavio Aleluia built his athletic foundation early, entering competitive sports at just 7 years old. Those formative years cultivated the discipline and competitive mindset that would later define his approach to martial arts. By 15, his drive to pursue new challenges led him to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu — a decision that would shape the entire course of his athletic and professional life. The technical demands of BJJ proved a natural fit for someone whose years of structured training had already forged the work ethic required to thrive on the mats.

One of the most distinctive aspects of Flavio Aleluia's development as a BJJ practitioner is the singular consistency of his coaching relationship. From his first day on the mats as a white belt through the pinnacle of his rank progression, Carlos Henrique served as his one and only instructor — a continuity of technical guidance that is rare in the sport and speaks to a deep, enduring trust between coach and student.

On November 20, 1998, Carlos Henrique awarded Aleluia his black belt, marking the culmination of roughly a decade of dedicated training begun in his mid-teens. The promotion represented not only a personal milestone but the product of a coach-student relationship defined by loyalty, consistency, and mutual commitment to the art.

Flavio Aleluia holds a prominent leadership position at Brazil 021, where he serves as one of the academy's head coaches. Regarded as the right-hand man of André Negão Terêncio — the central figure of the institution — Aleluia carries a level of trust and respect that reflects his standing among peers and students alike.

His dual role as senior technical instructor and close collaborator in the academy's direction gives him direct influence over the culture and development of Brazil 021.
