Tye Ruotolo vs William Tackett

Tye Ruotolo and William Tackett put on a high-paced match at WNO 8. Tackett targeted Tye's legs throughout, looking to work his leg locks, but Ruotolo defended effectively and countered with the pretzel-bolo back-taking technique, completing the back take on at least one exchange. William also found success from the bottom on one occasion, sweeping Tye with a tight body lock, though Ruotolo returned to his feet quickly.

Ruotolo's pressure became a significant factor in the final five minutes of the match. He passed Tackett's guard twice and reached mount twice as well, doing the bulk of his damage in that stretch. Tye took the decision win.
