From half guard, Magomedov threatened a knee slice with an underhook while Barboza fought for his own underhook and threatened sweeps and a wrestle-up to prevent further passing. Magomedov freed his leg and stood, and Barboza stood as well. In the closing sequence, Magomedov converted another takedown off a single-leg to high-crotch as time expired.
