Paul Barch vs Marcin Held

Paul Barch entered as a clear favorite over Poland's MMA competitor Marcin Held at Polaris 12. Barch started out the better of the two, imposing his pace and threatening with a guillotine after Held shot a double leg. Held defended and was forced to pull guard.

Barch pressed forward from early on, but Held met him halfway, imposing a tremendous pace of his own that appeared to wear Barch down somewhat toward the end of the bout. The fight was very even overall, with a slight edge to Barch for getting closer to the finish in his submission attempts.
