Kayron Gracie and Fellipe Andrew was one of the most anticipated matchups on the card at 2024 ADXC 3. Both athletes are submission-oriented and known for competing with a technical, no-nonsense approach across all areas of the game. Andrew started the first three rounds by pulling guard, playing a more defensive game against Gracie's low-posture guard passing style.

Through those rounds, Gracie worked a methodical passing game while Andrew stayed on the defensive. In the fourth round, Andrew chose to engage in the standing exchange with the rookie black belt and paid the price for it. Gracie landed a clean O-soto-gari throw and capitalized on the sequence immediately after.

From there, Gracie applied a choke to finish the match. The choking position was unorthodox, described as a modified clock choke.
