Helena Crevar vs Adele Fornarino

At CJI 2, Adele Fornarino pulled guard in the first round and looked for a Mir lock and leg entanglements, but Helena Crevar threatened legs more convincingly. All three judges scored the round 10-9 for Crevar.

Fornarino shifted to upper body attacks in round two, hunting for armbars on two occasions. Two judges gave her that round, with one judge scoring it for Crevar. In the third round, Crevar mixed pressure passing with leg attacks to limit Fornarino's offense, and the judges scored it 10-9 in her favor.

Crevar took the match by unanimous decision and advanced to the final.
