Gabriel Gonzaga and Leonardo Leite met at 2020 BJJ Stars in a technical match spent mostly on the feet. A highlight early on was Gonzaga landing a tornado throw on Leite, who is a former Brazilian National Squad judoka, the same throw that Roberto Cyborg made well known on the IBJJF circuit. In the final minute, Leite landed a clean tai otoshi throw. As Gonzaga hit the ground, he immediately reversed the position using an underhook, ending up on mount in the scramble, and then finished with an armbar.
