Cassia Moura vs Adele Fornarino

Adele Fornarino controlled the early portion of the match at UFC BJJ 12, using leg entanglements to put Cassia Moura in danger. Fornarino appeared close to a tap near the end of Round 1, but the horn sounded before she could finish. She also absorbed an eye poke during the bout, which disrupted her momentum.

Moura competed through the later rounds on a compromised leg, generating near guard pass attempts and withstanding repeated leg entry attacks from Fornarino. She survived to the final horn despite the ongoing leg threat.

Controversy followed the decision when an image surfaced of judge Letticia Ribeiro's scorecard showing Round 1 initially marked 10-8 for Fornarino, with that score appearing to have been altered to a 9.
