Mackenzie Dern vs Michelle Nicolini

Mackenzie Dern came into this match motivated by a narrow loss to Michelle Nicolini at the IBJJF Europeans earlier in the year. Dern secured a sweep early in the match and spent much of the remaining time working to pass Nicolini's guard.

As the six minutes wound down, Dern slowed the pace and held on to earn her first black belt world title at the 2015 World Professional Jiu Jitsu Championship.
