Erich Munis vs Adam Wardziński

Erich Munis earned an early advantage at BJJ Stars 15 by coming up from a double guard pull and immediately angling for a guard pass. He nearly scored, but Adam Wardziński turtled and gave up his back. Munis attempted an armbar, but Wardziński escaped and returned to top position.

With Munis up by two advantages from the bottom, he tied Wardziński up in his long-range guards, using off-balances to limit Wardziński's progress. When Munis established a lapel grip, he sat Wardziński to his hips and completed a sweep. Wardziński looked to work his foot sweep game from the sit-up guard, but couldn't maintain control of Munis' long legs. He moved to longer-range guards, but Munis nearly passed again.

Musnis sat back strategically without giving up points, then hit an overhead sweep to mount, extending his lead to eight points. Wardziński recovered to single leg X-guard and swept back to top position with less than a minute remaining, but was unable to get past Munis' long guard.
